Runner-Ups: Thanks to everyone else who entered their lyrics in Songsculptor's 2008 Lyric Writing Contest. There were many creative and very well crafted lyrics entered and all of your lyrics certainly show great promise. However, with all contests there can only be one winner and a limited number of runner-ups. Just because your lyrics did not make the finals this time does not mean that you do not have talent worth developing. You have the potential to do anything you set your mind to and I would definitely encourage you to continue writing and honing your craft. I firmly believe that being good at anything is simply a matter of working hard and not giving up. ALSO > Keep in mind that "SONGS and Lyrics" are a very subjective and personal thing. What one person thinks is GREAT another may think is mediocre or even weak. It's all in the ears of each individual listener. What's important here is that everyone involved in the judging process thought (with a little bit of work) all of your lyrics have potential.
